As of 4/8/20: All students now have at least one parent or guardian connected to our Class Dojo. 23 of 26 students have connected to Google Classroom. As a result, all future COVID-19 School Closure Assignments will be posted on those apps, which we will use for the remainder of our remote learning experience.
WORD LISTS THROUGH THE END OF THE YEAR (LESSON 30) CAN STILL BE FOUND UNDER SPELLING LISTS ON THIS SITE.
Assignments and Resources During COVID-19 School Closure
During the two week period of school closures due to the COVID-19 outbreak, I will be posting assignments and resources to Class Dojo to access from your home. For those who do not have the Class Dojo app, I will post those assignments and resources here. Students also received a packet created by Mrs. Cumba to work on during the school closures. Any resources found here are supplemental to the packet she created. Stay safe!
Religion
This week, we would have been completing Chapters 15 and 16. Chapter 15 begins on page 171 and ends on page 182. Chapter 16 begins on page 183 and ends on page 194. Please read and complete these pages during the school closure. I understand the packet from school instructs students to write one thing they learned from each Religion lesson. It will be fine for students to complete that in their Religion copybook or on a piece of looseleaf paper, or even to type it and email it to me @ [email protected], or send it to me on Class Dojo if you'd like! Whatever works for you!
If the closure goes on past two weeks, we will continue this process with Chapters 17 and 18. Chapter 17 begins on page 195 and ends on page 206. Chapter 18 begins on page 207 and ends on page 218.

Math
This week and next, we would've began Chapter 10 on Foundations for Multiplication. One of the topics included in the chapter is Arrays and how they can be used as a basis for learning to multiply. The program BrainPop is allowing teachers to create free accounts during school closures, and they have a great video teaching about Arrays with a follow up quiz that students can take. BrainPop has lessons, videos, games, and quizzes on tons of other topics as well. I created one username and password that all students can use. BrainPop Jr. (K-3) would be our program, but BrainPop also creates videos an activities for older students on topics they are working on in school. The username and password I created can be shared by anyone who wants to use it.

Math Workbook Assignment Pages
Most students have their math books home with them, and those that don't can pick it up in the school office anytime from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM this week. Over the course of the school closure, students should try to complete Chapter 10 concepts on pages 429 through 454. I am available for help with the chapter concepts anytime during the day via email or Class Dojo.
